Locals and visitors can shop for one-of-a-kind creations as well as fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, baked goods, honey, meats, and cheeses. The Concrete Saturday Market is a community-based organization that offers local residents the opportunity to sell handmade items and locally produced food. The Market also hosts local musical talent. Youths age 12-18 may rent booths for $5 to sell their handmade items. The Market provides a venue for local charitable organizations to hold fund-raising bake sales. EBT/SNAP, P-EBT, FMNP WIC & Senior Dollars, FVRx & East County Fresh Bucks are accepted. The Concrete Saturday Market is home to farmers, gardeners, artists, and crafters and held at the Concrete Community Center. The Anacortes Farmers Market empowers the community through the support of sustainable and local economies by providing outreach and educational opportunities. Holiday Market is the weekend before Thanksgiving at the Depot Arts Center. Pie Festival is in mid-September during Market. Come and stock up your pantry with wholesome and delicious foods and veggies starts too! Be sure to visit the Winter Market on 2nd Saturdays, January – April. We have many great things in store this season, including more food vendors and kid’s activities, the successful workshops series, and a fantastic music lineup. Join us at the Depot for the summer season market. *Winter Markets are on the second Saturday Saturday Market | May – October | Hours 9 am – 2 pm Whether grown (or created) on land or pulled out of the water, Skagit’s probably got it, somewhere-oysters, beer, fresh produce, cheese, beef, tulips-you name it, it’s probably been a thing around here for a long time. Look out for our new Skagit Food Trail coming in Spring 2023! With over 150 years of farming history, the Skagit Valley is now recognized as one of the most important agricultural valleys remaining in Puget Sound. The Skagit Valley Farmers Markets open in May or early June. Some open as early as February and others not until June, or even July for berry stands. This usually happens sometime in May, but is quite variable, depending on the farmers, their products, and the weather. The seasonal farm stands will open when they have enough product in the spring. Experience how your food is grown, raised, or produced. Take the opportunity to buy fresh food directly where it is produced. Each farm stand, store, market, or u-pick has a different personality, giving an inside story of the farmers and owners. ![]() Some are roadside attractions and other adorable markets. Many Skagit Valley farmers and food producers sell their products at their stores, farm stands, or Skagit Valley farmer’s markets.
